This policy explains what this website collects and what we do with it.

It covers the website only. Information you give us as a patient — your record, your appointments, anything you discuss with a clinician — is health information governed by HIPAA and is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this page.

What we collect

When you send us a message. The form on our contact page asks for your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you choose to write. That is all of it. We use it to answer you. We do not use it for marketing. The form is for general enquiries, so please don’t send medical details, symptoms or patient information through it — call us instead. We also run a Cloudflare bot check on the form to stop automated spam.

When you use live chat. Our chat is switched off until you ask for it. Opening the page loads nothing from the chat provider — no script, no cookie, no connection — so if you never press Start chat, they never learn you were here.

Once you do press it, the conversation is handled by tawk.to, an outside live-chat provider. From that point they receive what you type, a randomly generated visitor ID, your approximate location from your IP address (country and state, which is how the correct consent notice is shown), the pages you look at while the chat is open, and basic browser and device information. If you write to us outside office hours, the message form asks for your name and email so we can reply. Before the chat opens, we ask you to consent to it, and you can decline.

Live chat is not a secure channel for health information. It is for general questions — hours, directions, insurance, what a service involves. Please don’t send medical details, symptoms or patient information through it.

When you simply visit. Our hosting provider records ordinary technical information for every request — IP address, browser, the page requested, and the time. This is standard for any website and is used to keep the site running and secure.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you between websites. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful — but only if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, and never on our contact or booking pages at all. If you decline, or ignore the banner, Google Analytics does not load.

Error reporting. We use Sentry to be told when a page breaks, so we can fix it.

What we do not do

We want to be specific, because plenty of privacy policies say the opposite by default:

  • No advertising. No ad networks, no advertising cookies, no Google DoubleClick, no remarketing, no Meta or TikTok pixels. We do not have advertising partners.
  • We do not sell or rent your information. Not to anyone, for any price.
  • No session recording. Nothing on this site replays your mouse movements or keystrokes.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to register for and no password to store.
  • No chat until you ask for it. The chat provider receives nothing at all until you press Start chat. Our WhatsApp link is also an ordinary link — tapping it opens WhatsApp, and nothing runs here.
  • No chatbot. A member of our team answers you, or nobody does and you get a message form. There is no automated or AI responder on this site.

Who your information reaches

  • Our own team, so we can respond to you.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts the website and delivers it to your browser.
  • tawk.to, which provides live chat — and only once you have started a chat.
  • Google Analytics, only if you accepted analytics, and never on the contact or booking pages.
  • Sentry, if a page errors.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

By default the site stores one thing in your browser: a record of whether you accepted or declined analytics, so it does not ask you again. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies.

If you start a live chat, tawk.to sets its own items so the conversation works and stays continuous as you move between pages. These include a visitor identifier that lasts about six months, and short-lived items that keep the chat connected across browser tabs. We also record in your own browser that you opened the chat, so it can reopen as you move around the site; that is cleared when you close the tab.

You can clear all of these at any time in your browser settings.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child through it. Parents and guardians do use this site to ask about care for their children, and a message sent on a child’s behalf reaches us the same way any other message does. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can decline analytics, decline the chat consent notice, browse without submitting anything, or contact us by phone instead of using the form or the chat. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.

Rights over your health record — as opposed to this website — are set out in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Changes

If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
