Admission process

1

Insurance Verification

We start by confirming your insurance coverage. Our dedicated team will gather your policy details, contact your insurer, and clarify any co-pays, deductibles, or out-of-pocket expenses. This step helps you understand your benefits upfront and eliminates financial surprises.

2

Complete Admission Package

Next, we’ll provide you with an admission package containing essential forms and questionnaires. Completing these documents in advance allows our clinicians to gain a clear understanding of your background and current needs, ensuring a smooth start to your care. If you have any questions, our staff is here to help.

3

Schedule your first Session

Once your insurance is verified and paperwork is in order, we’ll help you find a convenient time for your initial appointment. We understand life can be busy, so we offer flexible scheduling options, including late afternoon and weekend availability when possible.

4

Attend your First session

During your first session, you’ll meet with one of our licensed professionals for an in-depth assessment. We’ll review your mental health history, discuss your goals, and address any immediate concerns. By the end of this visit, you’ll have a personalized treatment plan and a clear path toward improving your mental well-being.

Frequently Asked questions FAQs

We understand that seeking mental health support can come with many questions and concerns. Our FAQ section is designed to provide clear, concise information on topics ranging from appointment scheduling and insurance coverage to our therapy approaches and confidentiality practices. Whether you’re new to counseling or exploring different treatment options, our FAQs aim to address common inquiries and help you feel more at ease before your first visit. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, feel free to reach out—our team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Therapists on Oasis Mental Health Center are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists (PhD / PsyD), licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFT), licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), or licensed mental health counselors (LMHC). All of them have a Masters Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by their state’s professional board after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice. While their experience, expertise, and background vary, they all possess at least 3 years and 1,000 hours of hands-on experience.

After we verify your insurance information, we will match you to an available therapist who fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with. Different therapists have different approaches and areas of focus, so it’s important to find the right person who can achieve the best results for you. We have found that we are able to provide a successful match most of the time; however, if you start the process and you feel your therapist isn’t a good fit for you, you may elect to be matched to a different therapist.

You can get therapy in 3 ways:

  • Face to Face with your therapist
  • Speaking over the phone with your therapist
  • Video conferencing with your therapist

You can use different ways at different times as you wish, based on your needs, availability, and convenience.

To determine if your insurance fully or partially covers your treatment, we need to verify your plan eligibility and benefits. Usually, we can determine your eligibility on the same day you provide us with your insurance information. However, a few insurance companies require a little more time. In this case, we will verify your eligibility and notify you as soon as we hear back from the insurance.
