Frequently asked questions
Therapists on Oasis Mental Health Center are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists (PhD / PsyD), licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFT), licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), or licensed mental health counselors (LMHC). All of them have a Masters Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by their state’s professional board after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice. While their experience, expertise, and background vary, they all possess at least 3 years and 1,000 hours of hands-on experience.
After we verify your insurance information, we will match you to an available therapist who fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with. Different therapists have different approaches and areas of focus, so it’s important to find the right person who can achieve the best results for you. We have found that we are able to provide a successful match most of the time; however, if you start the process and you feel your therapist isn’t a good fit for you, you may elect to be matched to a different therapist.
The cost of our services varies based on the type of services you need. We will provide the price once you call us and identify the kind of services you might need.
You can get therapy in 3 ways:
- Face to Face with your therapist
- Speaking over the phone with your therapist
- Video conferencing with your therapist
You can use different ways at different times as you wish, based on your needs, availability, and convenience.
To determine if your insurance fully or partially covers your treatment, you need to call our office and provide your insurance information. Usually, we can determine your eligibility on the same call. However, a few insurance companies require a little more time. In this case, we will verify your eligibility and notify you as soon as we hear back from the insurance.
