Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)

Job Description

Scope:

We are currently seeking Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LMHC, LMFT, and/or LCSW) and Registered Interns (Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern, and/or Registered Clinical Social Work Intern) to provide per diem clinical services in our office, the community and via Telehealth as appropriate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides screenings and assessments of new patients for outpatient services via telehealth and in-person.
  • Completes, and documents regularly Initial treatment plan, master treatment plan, integrated diagnostic summary, and treatment plan updates.
  • Facilitates group therapy sessions and 1:1 sessions daily as needed.
  • Establishes and maintains effective interpersonal relationships with the patient, work team, and all levels of the organization.
  • Follows Patient Safety goals
  • Completes daily tasks as assigned and completes all clinical documentation from the group or individual therapy sessions on the day of service.
  • Reports incidents to the supervisor and Risk Management department within the required timeframe in accordance with medical center policy.

Reporting Relationship:

This person reports directly to the Clinical Director.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Applicants must be licensed to practice in the State of Florida.
  • Applicants who are bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  •  Applicant must be willing to obtain an AHCA Level II Background Screening.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with the provision of behavioral health services via Telehealth is preferred but not required.
  • Applicants must be reliable, have initiative, and be interested in participating in clinical training within the company.
  • This is a per-diem/contractor position with the expectation of maintaining a caseload of at least 15 – 18 clients for part-time and 25 – 28 clients for full-time.
  • Applicant MUST be able to see clients in the office/community AND via telehealth.
